How can beauty brands get involved?

Corporate membership

any company developing and/or manufacturing finished cosmetic products as well as companies marketing finished cosmetic products under their own brand or under a licensed brand (“Manufacturers”) can become a corporate member.

Associate membership

any trade association representing manufacturers of finished cosmetic products, as well as raw material suppliers, distributors and retailers and consumers can become an associate member.

License purchase

any brand selling beauty products in the European region* is welcome to purchase a license to access the scoring platform (no membership required).

The EcoBeautyScore Association continuously accepts new members

The EcoBeautyScore Association is open to all cosmetics and personal care companies, regardless of their size or resources. New members can join at any time.

Currently, EcoBeautyScore is available to brands selling beauty products in Europe including the UK, Switzerland and Norway from 2025 and beyond within the following product categories: hair wash, such as liquid shampoo and shampoo bars, hair treatments such as conditioner and hair masks, body washes such as shower gel, soap and exfoliators, and face moisturisers & treatments such as moisturisers and serums.

In future manufacturers beyond Europe will be able to use the tool to score products, and the items that can be scored will be extended to include all cosmetics and personal care products across face, hair, decorative, oral, body, fragrance and grooming.
